Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze US federal and state tax statutes, focusing on statutory language including conditions, thresholds, AND/OR logic, and legal exceptions.
  • Review and evaluate the English translation of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
  • Provide comprehensive, structured written feedback within a review UI to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality output.
  • Apply logical reasoning to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to clarify interpretations and resolve uncertainties.
  • Leverage expert knowledge as an Enrolled Agent, CPA, or Tax Attorney to uphold the highest standards in legal and regulatory review.
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of changes in US tax law and communicate critical updates to the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Credentialed as an Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Tax Attorney.
  • Demonstrated expertise in regulatory interpretation and US tax law application.
  • Exceptional logical reasoning and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting raw US statutory language.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with experience delivering actionable feedback.
  • Comfortable working in a review UI and reviewing complex regulatory documents.
  • Relevant tax experience, ideally with statutory interpretation and compliance review.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience drafting or translating tax law language or guidance.
  • Background in legal analysis or technical tax documentation review.
  • Familiarity with collaborative, remote-first expert teams.
