Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe Khmer and English videos with high precision, clearly outlining timestamps and speaker transitions.
• Analyze and describe the emotional tone and intent of speakers, capturing nuanced expressions and context.
• Assess grammar, syntax, and tone in both languages, providing detailed feedback on language structure.
• Define words and their conceptual aspects, offering in-depth linguistic insights for complex language tasks.
• Collaborate closely with the customer’s team to achieve quality language deliverables and meet project deadlines.
• Adapt to various language assignments, ensuring clarity and consistency across diverse content types.
• Document and report on linguistic trends and challenges as part of ongoing quality improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Fluency in both Khmer and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in transcription, translation, or language analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to capture subtle meaning and emotionality in spoken language.
• Solid understanding of grammar, linguistic nuances, and cultural context in both languages.
• Ability to commit at least 15 hours per week to perform language tasks at a complex level.
• Proficiency with digital collaboration tools and remote work best practices.
• Demonstrated reliability, adaptability, and commitment to language quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in linguistics, translation studies, or a related field.
• Experience working in a remote, multicultural environment.
