Finance Expert -Undergraduate / Early Career

This is a remote, part-time finance research role. You’ll use Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reasoning to replicate the kinds of analyses, models, and memos typical in investment banking, private equity, and hedge fund work. Projects are flexible and asynchronous, with ~10–15 hours/week expected when active.

Responsibilities

• Create financial problem sets and cases based on real-world investment logic
• Write clear explanations of valuation, modeling, and deal reasoning
• Evaluate model-generated outputs for accuracy, structure, and realism
• Collaborate with project leads and other experts to ensure clarity and consistency

Required qualifications

• Completed internship at a bulge bracket / elite boutique investment bank, top-tier PE or HF
• Comfortable translating complex finance into structured, step-by-step reasoning
• Exceptional attention to analytical and writing detail
• Excited to improve how AI learns real-world financial judgment

Preferred qualifications

• Currently a junior or senior undergraduate studying Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Prior experience creating or reviewing financial models, transaction comps, or valuation summaries
• Strong interest in financial technology, AI, or automation
