micro1 is engaging Immigration Attorneys (BigLaw Firms) to contribute subject matter expertise to a customer's innovative project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Analyze complex immigration law queries and provide well-reasoned, written responses.
- Review and refine legal documents, forms, and correspondence for clarity, completeness, and compliance with best practices.
- Evaluate case scenarios using case management platforms and annotate legal processes for machine learning training.
- Leverage legal research tools to generate accurate, up-to-date information and elucidate key legal concepts.
- Offer structured feedback on draft AI model outputs to improve reasoning and legal accuracy.
- Collaborate with project managers and other experts to ensure high-quality deliverables in a technology-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience as an attorney practicing immigration law at BigLaw firms or comparable settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in legal writing, analysis, and review of complex immigration cases and documentation.
- Proficiency with legal case management software and legal research databases.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to communicate complex legal information clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide actionable feedback on draft materials.
- Experience participating in technology-driven or AI-adjacent legal projects is advantageous.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of legal ethics.
