Medical Administrative Assistant Expert

AfterQuery is seeking Medical Administrative Assistant Experts to create and refine healthcare administrative challenges for training AI models. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate medical office scenarios that test the AI's ability to interpret and apply complex healthcare administrative principles, ensuring that our models can navigate real-world patient scheduling, medical records management, and healthcare communication with precision and practical insight. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between proven medical administrative practice and innovative AI solutions, making a tangible impact on the future of healthcare technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality medical administrative questions and case studies that challenge AI models on topics such as patient scheduling, medical records documentation, insurance processing, appointment coordination, patient communication, confidentiality protocols, and more.
• Evaluate and validate model responses, offering detailed feedback to ensure accuracy and adherence to healthcare administrative best practices and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare and technical experts to fine-tune question difficulty and ensure content is both challenging and educational.

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or medical administrative certification preferred).
• Proven experience as a medical secretary, medical administrative assistant, or in healthcare office administration with a robust understanding of medical terminology, patient interactions, and healthcare workflows.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred qualifications

• Multiple years of medical administrative experience, ideally across diverse healthcare settings (hospitals, clinics, specialty practices, etc.).
• Prior involvement in healthcare training, quality improvement initiatives, or healthcare technology projects.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems, medical billing and coding, insurance verification, or HIPAA compliance is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI or technology-driven healthcare administrative applications is a plus.
