Overview

Handshake AI is seeking licensed Medical Doctors to help improve the next generation of AI models. In this role, you’ll apply your clinical expertise to create and evaluate medically complex content that helps train AI systems to produce more accurate, reliable responses.

This is a flexible, remote opportunity ideal for physicians who want to contribute to cutting-edge AI development while working on their own schedule.

Details

• Create clinically accurate, challenging medical questions based on your medical field.
• Provide clear, evidence-based reference answers and explanations.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for medical accuracy, reasoning, and completeness.
• Identify errors, omissions, or unsafe recommendations in AI outputs.
• Provide feedback to improve model performance on complex medical scenarios.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Active or previous medical license in good standing
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent written communication skills
• Ability to explain complex medical concepts clearly and accurately
• Experience in medical education, research, or clinical writing is a plus
• US work authorization required

Project details

• This position is remote and asynchronous – work independently from wherever you are on your schedule.
• No minimum hour requirement – most contributors work between 5-20 hours per week.
• You’ll join the project as a 1099 independent contractor.
• Payment is made weekly through Stripe per task completed.
